DISH Network offers often appear to be very similar to those of the other major satellite television provider, DirecTV; but a closer look at the details of these offers shows exactly why 13,000,000 Americans have made DISH Network their provider of choice.
DISH Network offers two hundred channels in their top-level package, and forty in their basic package – similar to DirecTV. DISH Network, however, proves the more sensible choice as their basic package – DISH Family – comes at a standard rate of only $19.99 per month. This is a whole $10 less than the DirecTV’s comparative offer. This price difference remains the same for almost all of the other packages offered by the providers.
DISH Network also offer up to 256 channels – 31 more than DirecTV. The channels offered by DISH Network include a wide variety of foreign language programs; these include Spanish, Chinese, Hindi and French. Amongst DISH Network’s foreign language channels are seventeen in the Chinese language and thirty-five in Latino languages.
As most Americans have been signed up to cable television for years, and the inconvenience of switching to satellite television is enough to put many people off, all the satellite television providers offer their equipment and installation free of charge. DISH Network goes the extra mile, however, by adding a free eighteen month warranty to their offer – and offering free connection to as many other television sets in your home as you wish. (DirecTV provide only a twelve month warranty, and charge $4.99 for each extra set.)
With their lower prices and superior customer care, there is little doubt that DISH Network go that extra distance to provide a better service for their customers.
